BAncHist (Hons), MA Arch - Tutor

I have a decade of experience tutoring high school students with a particular focus on Years 10, 11 & 12. I have worked within a speech pathology practice (Lindfield Speech Pathology) for the majority of my career, so much of my experience is with neurodivergent (ADHD, autism) students and those with learning difficulties (dyslexia, reading comprehension, language expression etc).

I mainly focus on the English syllabuses (from Standard to 4-Unit) and History (Ancient, Modern, Extension). I teach students how to interpret questions, write essays, imaginative and discursive responses as well as study and scheduling skills.

I studied a Bachelor of Ancient History at Macquarie University before undertaking a Masters in Archaeology at the University of York in England. I then worked as an archaeologist in Europe for five years before working as a heritage consultant in addition to being a tutor here in Sydney. I then established Tutor Me Please in 2024 and have been doing this ever since!
